"With conceptual understanding, strategic planning and everyday pedagogical practice at our school in view, we deem it imperative to combine cultural conservatism with social relevance, which has a whole range of consequences. First of all, this requires a thorough investigation and interpretation of the modern sociocultural situation which, at first glance, might appear to be far removed from the day-to-day concerns of school life. An understanding of the wide range of tasks that our teachers have to come to grips with has to be also in place. New teaching methods and new approaches to learning are to be approbated, too. Finally, there is an acute need for an ongoing dialogue and interaction across teachers, students and their parents, as well as a host of other factors to account for.

There is no doubt that an inherent difficulty and, perhaps, even a certain contradiction in the state of the modern school provide fertile ground for the search for efficiency, as well as new educational principles and ideas. It is this search which shapes our concepts of teaching and strategic development at Integration XXI.”
